ABOUT

ABOUT ME

I have a long history of mould and its effects on my home and health.

When I was a child, I suffered from breathing problems and frequent sore throats. After graduating from school, and I left my home town – I found I was gradually free of the symptoms.; other than when I visited home.

I moved into a flat that required lots of work. Little by little my breathing issues got worse again. I started having severe allergies and rashes. I barely noticed how many antihistamines, nasal sprays and throat lozenges I was using daily.

Eventually, after seeking help, and having numerous tests and questions the focus shifted to mould as a possible cause. This was common to my flat and where I grew up! I made a plan and got some good advice and help to sort out the mould at home first.

Then start rebuilding my health – this process is far from easy or quick! I have luckily made significant progress. Now, any return of my symptoms is a good alert to me to find the source of mould and get out of there.

I have learned to manage it, and stop it from harming me, and so can you.
